- Balvatika 3 was introduced in our school last year i.e 2023-2024 to give the much needed importance to the Foundational years of children.
- The introduction of Balvatika marks a significant initiative aimed at providing early childhood education for young children in the age group of 3 to 6 years. Balvatika is designed to be an integral part of the formal schooling system, focusing on the foundational development of children before they enter formal schooling in class 1. The initiative is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes the importance of early childhood care and education (ECCE) for cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- The opening of Balvatika 3 in our school provides an opportunity for children to engage in age-appropriate learning experiences that promote holistic development. These include activities that foster language skills, numeracy, motor skills, creativity, and socio-emotional development. The curriculum for Balvatika is designed to be flexible, activity-based, and learner-centered, ensuring that children develop in a nurturing and supportive environment.
- To achieve these goals, a good support system has been developed. Balvatika class is provided with i)interactive panel, to integrate technology for joyful learning, ii)Toy library for developing creative thinking, iii) 2 teachers are engaged for better interactions iv) Flexible timetable , v) Colourful classroom, vi) Play area etc .
All these efforts prepare children not only for academic success but also for lifelong learning and personal growth.
