Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat
Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ is a government initiative launched in 2015 with the aim of promoting cultural integration and mutual understanding among different states and union territories in India. The programme encourages people to explore and appreciate the diverse traditions, languages, and heritage of various regions, fostering national unity.
Events & activities under ‘KVS Kala Utsav’ are conducted to promote arts in education, nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students.
Under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ programme in 2023, Odisha is paired with Maharashtra, and Goa is paired with Jharkhand to promote national integration through mutual understanding.
The following activities and programmes are conducted every year as part of this initiative in all KVs, showcasing the rich national heritage and celebrating the concept of Unity in Diversity.
